Raj served as Project Leader at Cherrytec Technologies, a privately-held Indian software consultancy, serving customers in the US, Europe, Middle East and Asia. In his most recent client engagement, he architected and led the implementation of a system to manage pricing, promotion and real-time transaction information to a network of a few thousand stores of a major retailer.
Previously, Raj served as Lead Technologist of an offshore team serving a New York-based proprietary trading desk of Deutsche Bank. He built a suite of technologies to support the research and systems driving high-volume equities statistical arbitrage trading. In addition, Raj led a team that designed and implemented a robust messaging framework within Linux (Fedora core) to reduce thread-switch overheads and improve transaction rates.
